The Gilded Page is queer owned, queer safe and woman owned. That shapes everything here: the books we stock, the authors we feature, the events we host, and the room you walk into.
The shop sits in Kansas City's Northland on North Oak Trafficway, built to feel like a wizard's library, all jewel tones and velvet, with shelves on nearly every wall. Queer authors and queer stories are part of what we choose to carry in every genre, from fantasy and romance to science fiction and nonfiction.
